Description
Composition: Lincomycin HCI 50 mg Spectinomycin HCI 100 mg
Indication: Tocomycin Super inj. is a combination of two
antibiotics i.e. Lincomycin and spextinomycin.
they both have synergistic reaction in most cases.
spectinomycin acts as bacteriostatic or bactericidal,
depending on the dose, against mainly Gram-negative
bacteria like campylobacter, E. Coli and salmonella spp.
Spectinomycin is also active against Mycoplasmas like
M. gallisepticum, M. meleagridis and M. synvia. Lincomycin acts
as bacteria like mycoplasma, Treponema, staphylococcus and
Streptococcus spp. Cross reaction of Lincomycin can occur.
Dosage: Calves: 1 ml per 10 kg b/w for 4 days.
Goats & Sheep: 1 ml per 10 kg b/w for 3 days
Poultry : 0.5 ml per 2.5 kg body weight (subcutaneously) daily for consecutive days
