Our History
The name "Symans" is derived from Syed Muhammad Anwar and Sons, paying tribute to the father of the four brothers who initiated this enterprise.
Symans is a highly esteemed and widely recognized entity within the veterinary industry of Pakistan. It is a family-owned conglomerate that encompasses two key entities: Symans Pharmaceuticals Private Limited and Pakistan Medicos. Symans Pharmaceuticals secured its drug manufacturing license in the year 1990. However, the family's involvement in the veterinary sector commenced significantly earlier, in 1975. The company's foray into the veterinary sector commenced through Pakistan Medicos, which to this day remains one of the largest and most venerable wholesale and retail providers of veterinary healthcare products in Pakistan.
Through its subsidiary, Pakistan Medicos, the organization gained invaluable insights into market demands and optimal delivery mechanisms. Building upon this foundation of industry trust, the family envisioned a new venture under the name Symans Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. In 1985, the company laid its initial groundwork, and after several successful years of operation, it achieved its drug manufacturing license, subsequently registering with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies in 1994.
Over the passage of time, Symans Pharmaceuticals distinguished itself within the market by consistently delivering high-quality products from its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This commitment to excellence culminated in the attainment of CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO9001 certifications in the years 2000 and 2005, respectively.
