Indications
Deltacide is a synthetic pyrethroid indicated for the treatment and control of ectoparasites like all kind of flies, ticks, mites, midges and lice in livestoock and poultry. It acts on sodium channels in insect nerve membranes and cause a non lethal knockdown be peripheral nerve intoxication and a lethal effect that is thought to be associated with both peripheral and central neuronal toxicity in the insects.
