Our History
Symans is a well-known and highly-reputed brand in the Pakistani veterinary industry. It is a family owned
entity comprising of Symans Pharmaceuticals Private Limited and Pakistan Medicos. Symans
Pharmaceuticals got its drug manufacturing license in 1990. However, the family’s journey in the
veterinary sector started much earlier in 1975. The company entered the veterinary sector through
Pakistan Medicos which isstill considered as one of the biggest and oldest whole sale and retail business of
veterinary healthcare in Pakistan. Through Pakistan Medicos, we were able to gauge what the market
demanded and how it could be delivered in the best way possible. After winning the trust of the industry,
the family envisioned a new business with the name of Symans Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. The company
first laid its foundation in 1985 and after successfully operating for a few years, the company obtained its
drug manufacturing license and as a result, managed to get registered with the registrar of joint stock
companies in 1994. As time passed, Symans Pharmaceuticals proved itself in the market by providing
quality products in a state of the art factory which helped us in getting CGMP and ISO9001 certification in
2000 and 2005 respectively.
